For many projects it’s best to meet first and talk through what you’re looking for and your budget before arriving at a price. We offer a sliding scale, and try to strike a balance between offering clients something of value that feels worth the price, and paying ourselves fairly for our labor so we can keep doing this work in a sustainable way.
For a few of our more common types of projects, we offer a fixed price so you know what you’re getting into beforehand.
Simple Portrait
A 1.5 hour session for one or two people, and high resolution digital copies of the best resulting photos. Perfect for senior portraits, engagement sessions, professional head shots, parent and child, or person and pet photos. I will edit the images to adjust lighting and do some minimal retouching. For more detailed retouching, choose the complex portrait. The number of images will depend on how many come out well. The goal is to create one quality portrait, but I always deliver more options when possible. See below for examples.

Complex Portrait
A 1.5 hour session for a larger group, or for an individual who wants more detailed retouching, and high resolution digital copies of the finished photo(s). A note on retouching: I think you’re more beautiful with your imperfections, so I don’t advise a lot of heavy “photoshopping”, but I’m happy to talk about what you have in mind. Maybe you’d like to be cut out from your background and sat upon a tiny mushroom, but you’d rather pay a human than destroy the environment by using AI? Hit me up! Larger groups always require more editing, because I will combine each person’s best take into one image, resulting in a seamlessly blended shot where no one is blinking and everyone looks their best. In some cases I can even add someone who wasn’t there, as in one of the examples below.

Logo Design
We will work together to brainstorm the audience, goals and general vibe of your brand, organization, business, or campaign. I’ll then combine color, typography and shape to create a unique and recognizable logo to represent you in the world. I will check in with you at several points along the way for feedback to ensure we arrive at a result that we’re all happy with.
